Region is a joke.. how the hell do Shropshire and parts of the West Midlands do better than us from a North Westerly ???
If the wind is from the South East then we are in a shadow.
Painful living here

No idea why they have a good portion of the region in yellow warning for snow?!!
I agree. It's just another kick in the proverbials

Down for heavy rain on Wednesday. I bet that does not slide to the south of me.

Its snowing but the snow is too light to stick here. Only takes just 5 minutes for the heavy snow to stick everywhere.
Snowing here too but lots of tiny flakes

Its painful for us in greater manchester...just to north for all them showers coming out of liverpool bay...
Seriously thinking of throwing the towel in.. shower going a few miles to my south. Seem to be following the M61 into Swinton then north Manchester.

MET Office text forecast just updated
Sleet and snow arriving in southern parts of the region overnight.
Sleet and snow in Southern areas continuing through the day leading to some large accumalations
Northern regions remaining dry

Do wish the MetO would be a bit more specific. The North West is a big region.
North out the game
South in the game.
What about us in the middle ?

Starting to hate having this big hill in my back garden. The showers skirt to my South West.
Ive always said that winter hill could not cast a rain shadow but sometimes from a North Westerly wind direction I miss the worst of the showers

Light snow shower. Very wet snow too
