    Give it chance mate. Already today has upgraded shows heavy snow in a few hours for Brum and light snow later. Friday, Saturday and Sunday is not yet decided by a long shot so judge it in when we are basking in mild South Westerlies lol. Chin up Snow brings out the frustration in us all just go and take a butcher's in the SE Thread.

    Strange all models show snow even the fabled Met app and BBC from Thursday until Saturday be interesting maybe they think it's going to keep going further south.

    Light snow here and Met upgrades for today light snow then heavy snow at Midday.

    Arpege still looking Tasty for the Midlands has the Snow kicking of Thursday night. Then it's a conveyer belt of snow until Saturday. Still time for change off course.

    Woke up to a nice dusting of snow, Met says showers on and off from 10am. Still looking good later in the week BBC says 3 days of snow let's see how correct they are.

    Sorry to hear that mate I think alot of it is just banter and some take the models or forecasts as gospel and get upset when it dosent work out. Dosent make it any worse than the others threads tbh. We're all weather lovers at heart.

    The models now are sending the low further south with every run gfs shows no ppn for most of the Mids now on Friday. This trend keeps going it will miss the UK all together. Disappointing day but no matter what we still had a great winter so stuff the Polar Low and the channel headache Low lol. Bring on the light dandruff.

    Gfs a thing of beauty for Friday the Midlands is the sweet spot. Now just slight shift east then stop lol. Tonight looks good again for West Mids it's like a Soap opera lol.

    Yh that's what I thought I have a feeling it will be over the Mids by tomorrow. And the Low Friday has gone so far North we badly need it to trend bk further south it's snow to rain for the Midlands now according to Icon.

    Seems the same to me moderate to light snow tomorrow. Heavy snow Thursday night until Saturday. No noticeable change. Tonight the models should start to nail down the track of the low.

    Even if we miss the Polar low wich i think will give us a few cms. we surely can't miss all those showers. Still light snow here lol.

    Latest BBC forecast has the polar low for Tuesday giving the East Mids between 5cm to 10cm and West 2 to 5cm we shall see also has Fridays low as all snow event with Blizzards the plot thickens.

    Light snow on and off here so far way to light and sporadic to stick.

    Don't think anyone is in denial but it's not clear cut as the models don't agree with eachother. Just compare UKMO to GFS both plausible outcomes but an agreement not a chance. The trend is for milder air to push through but it's not a done deal. Why would people want the cold to continue ermmm one word !SNOW!

    Yh we need it far enough North so we have the PPN but not to far North that mixes out the cold uppers still looks fine at present from Birmingham northwards. This will go down to the wire.

    Just a bit of Fun but the Gem is a Gem for the Midlands could be some fun and games in fact this morning has increased our chances of heavy snow from Friday into Saturday. Still lots of twists and turns to come though. BANK

    I hope so mate but for us in the West Mids I can't see them getting this far inland Tuesday looks very promising though. Any thoughts about Friday it could be special. Hope you got a good lamp post picked out lol.

    Tuesday looking like a few cms are possible now with showers piling in from the East. Friday looks really interesting also. Snowy times ahead.
