    It got today's snow right along with the Icon. The Midlands is getting heavy snow right now. So well done to Aperge and Icon.

    One thing it won't be is dry. I think sleet to rain is what will happen. Strange that models showing heavy snow and it's only tomorrow so they must see something. Looks like another classic Knife edge scenario for the Midlands lol. If beep and Gfs get on board I would have more hope.

    If we have anything like that I would be shocked. I expect sleet then rain. But not saying I won't be watching Shaky and Wierpig update with intrest but with beep and GFS showing sleet to rain at best expect this to be gone next run.

    The low showing up now on radar looks way further South and could bring the worst wind and gusts and maybe snow high ground North Mids.

    Woke up to a sugar dusting nothing more. Put this one down in the failed category for the Met.

    Yh very localised at present. But Met say more organised snow tonight and radar shows the showers are getting there act together now. Still think a light dusting not much more.

    Place your bets now plz. Yh Shaky the models are having a nightmare trying to pin this down. Gfs says slightly further North but ECM and UKMO say further south.

    Gfs stops the march south of the Low and takes it further North again and brings bk the developed low.

    Yh the whole region has got an upgrade but especially you guys in the Buxton area I tempted to drive up there it's only 40 mins away lol. We all expect to see your beautiful pics why we have our 2cm you will have 2ft lol. Good luck.

    That low just keeps on coming South started the day in Scotland now it's in the north Midlands it wouldn't take much now to put us back in the game. I can't see it happening but at least we still have a slight chance. Snow showers look like piling in from tomorrow afternoon it's been a great winter so far.

    It certainly is a few more adjustments and NW England will be in the frame for heavy snow again its already moved nearly 100 miles in 6 hours. This morning it was through Northern Scotland now it's through North East England. This afternoon's will be interesting normally when it trends south it just keeps on going.

    To me it still looks South a touch but in the big picture it dosent change much. Maybe I need to go to Specsavers lol.

    To my untrained eye the low looks a tad further south but more developed from the 18z. See the blues clearly further into Ireland.
