Tomorrow looks a non event tomorrow for us in Hinckely. Good luck to those north of us, I say through gritted teeth. Who knows what the rest of the season brings up. But to be honest it's all a bit mehh now. Hopefully now we have lighter nights spring is on the way and we can think more of BBQS than sleet and dank days

Met Office just updated the warnings and a big downgrade for Central Midlands. Bust again for us in Hinckey. Bring on the Spring ASAP please

Woke up on Hinckley and all I can say is that it was a epic fail here last night compared to others. Not surprised though.

Snowing moderately in Hinckley and just starting to turn car roof a bit icy, first signs its settling better than earlier

Nope just radar watching and saying what I can see. Also said I was nice to see but was disappointed not to have accumulations. That's not moaning

If you watch the radar, even the stuff coming in from Wales is losing its intestiy now. Been nice to see the snow but a little disappointed to not get any accumulations at all.

Coming down alot heavier in Hinckley now but not settling. Ground very wet. Not even settling on grass or hedges

Been snowing lightly and blowing around in the wind, but no accumulations at all. Does anyone know if its meant to get harder or is this about as heavy as its supposed to get. Understand tomorrow is being downgraded a little now. Happy to see some snow at all the be fair

According to the radar, its really peeping up out of nowhere on the Eastern side of Leicester. Still nothing here in Hinckley at the moment. Maybe the odd flake in the wind, despite the radar showing light snow

Going to say this all looks alot about nothing at the moment in Hinckley, radar showing light snow here and its doing nothing. Just cloudy. Let's see what the rest of the day holds

Are we any nearer to knowing how we are going to do in the Hinckley/Coventry area. I cant keep up in the MT. People saying me might get more tomorrow but Thursdays snowing going North again

Its Windy here in Hinckely, near Leicester, however nothing like the Armageddon some of the models predicted (thankfully), hopefully the winds will not get any worse here. Doesn't really feel any different to the storm earlier in the week. -

Hey, glad more people have seen snow since last night! Nice to see. Quick question the showers have been dying as they cross the country in the main, however there are showers coming over the North Midlands that have come from nothing and are building over land? Why is that and what's the difference?

I give you exhibit 1. Shower missed us my literal half and mile and then peeps up and expands after it's drifted by. Could smell it! Lol I admit I am nearly 40 and still get so excited at the prospect of lying snow, just a covering and 9/10 times or more I end up feeling like a kid that has got up on Xmas morning and there aren't any presents under the tree. Sad I know
