  1. If you go on the website and click the video forcast mate. It would be too good to be true to work out like that
  2. Thanks for the update just watched the forcast now and it looks great. Massive caveat that it could move about so nice to see but likely to move maybe. Its the hope that kills you in the end lol
  3. What's it showing mate. Is it the app or the TV forcast. The app shows light snow for most of the day here but I tend not to believe that as it tends to be wrong most of the time lol
  4. I know things can change and think it's certain we will get the cold in here now. I am pretty pessimistic about snow chances. We don't do great with an easterly flow so need to see troughs to give us snow. Might have to give the Mod Thread a miss for a bit as fed up of people in the SE saying snow nationwide when it's just for Eastern areas. The UK extends further north than Cambridge and further west that Heathrow Airport! Lol
  5. Its definitely look alike we will get some cold in, I suppose it will all be about the precipitation and where thay goes, need a strong wind for showers to get as far as Hinckley and still have to ummf in them. Fingers crossed. Better thay mild weather for sure.
  6. Quick question, I keep hearing the term Midlands Northwards. The Midlands is a big place so wheres the line northwards. Warwick, Birmingham, Derby. Just trying to gauge where the line is?
  7. Quick question, I keep hearing on the model tread, great from the Midlands North. Without stating the obvious what does that exactly mean. The Midlands is a big place. Does that mean Warwick North, Birmingham North or even Derby North? Or all of them? From what I have seen from the models northern England looks great but maybe not greaat for snow for the Midlands?
  8. Brilliant GFS however let's not get too excited as in about 2 hours time this place could be the complete opposite. My advice let's not get so euphoric on great charts and not so downbeat on bad runs. That way no one gets burned and we can all stay on point
  9. Snow now in Hinckley, which is nice to look at but won't settle as its too wet I think
  10. More sleet that rain now in Hinckley, turned a bit as I sent the last update. More flakes of snow in the rain Its def trying it's best to turn
  11. Just rain now really in Hinckley, with the odd sleety moment, doesn't look great for turning. Hope those guys that didn't get much snow on Sunday get to see it if we don't today. Fingers crossed for you guys
  12. Upgrade from slightly sleet to a bit more sleety in Hinckley. The dw points must be getting lower and the cold air starting to under cut a bit more. Looks like the PPN front is stalling now from the radar Or could just the the rain is heavier lol
  13. Maybe the slightest sign of some sleet in the rain here in Hinckley, and I mean slightly lol
  14. Think that's our lot for Hinckely, think we have about 6cm prob. I will take that. Would have been nice to get the 12cm some others have had bit further north and east but we can't grumble at all
  15. Snow really blowing with the wind in Hinckely, its only fine but you can see clouds of snow in the lights from the street lights. Wind must have gotten up
  16. Always fascinating how light it makes the sky when the snow is falling in darkness. Don't need a light in the back garden to see
  17. Still not moving further south seems to be feeding the Amber Warning areas lol
  18. Yeah it's hard to tell with the sky as its naturally starting to get dark now. Might not look at the radar as its becomes obsessive and its not showing good stuff for us
  19. Yeah it's hard to tell with the sky as its naturally starting to get dark now. Might not look at the radar as its becomes obsessive and its not showing good stuff for us
  20. Yes just got a bit heavier now, just tiny grains. Very strange as all the radar are clear. Do you think as it starts to move south it will start to fill in?
  21. Front showing signs of fading in the last 30 minutes, seems to be shrinking and the better intensity shrinking.
  22. Question is if this does move south how much will it degrade. Its prob gone 20 mile too far north for Hinckely to have been one of the sweet spots but more snow that I expected
  23. Snizzzle has returned in Hinckely, however according to the radar the band is 15 miles to the north and still edgly slowly northwest. Very strange
