Super Bowl over so off to bed, these showers are dying on there weeble over here now? Looked more promising at midnight than it does now. I will eat my hat if we get loads of showers out of this, something is killing the convection, prob that mass of snow over EA

Sky's have cleared on Hinckley and there is a lovely gap in the showers from the coast down to us! Ha ha you couldn't make that up!

Still want the area above the wash to fire up more like it is around the humber. Fingers crossed as the night goes on it get heavier from there

Yep plenty of snow about for the entire Eastern side of the country. Keep trying to work back from the coast where we get our precipitation from. Think its about Skengness for Leicester

I would take them charts with a little caution and not get your hopes off, it it comes off great but if we miss a streamer you can see either side of the blob is much less snow depth

I think we have a winner! Heavier and heavier precipitation going to hit North Midlands. Hope the area underneath it to the Wash picks up else it's snizzle all the way. Might get a covering by Xmas ha ha ha

Light snow now in Hinckley, nothing spectacular but most it's done today and according the to radar nothing over us. How reliable are these radars? For shower situations

Snow grain in the wind in Hinckley, had to stare at the light for a few seconds to see them flying around lol.

Well that precipitation by the Wash was a bit of an anti climax!

Yes maybe a little, it too weak to get much further than Leicester and even then its just light snow

Let's be honest no one including the models really know who is going to get what. It's a radar and lamppost watch. The met app looks great for us but I don't take much notice of it, its just as likley to be threatening and dry lol

Yeah that is likely to happen in the Midlands, it will be agony if you miss but 10 miles
