You do get the feeling the snow in our region is beginning to get get slightly watered down, its gone from being a potential great spell to not a lot and maybe some showers. At the moment it looks cold and grey from Sunday to Wednesday and pretty dry.

Yeah I am worried about this dry shield at the moment being bang over us. Need this low to be 50-75 miles Northwestwards or it needs to clear the SE quick. If we get the middle ground I think we are knackered l. Would take us missing it on Sunday to get the chance of some decent snow on Monday via showers.

Glad I don't pay any attention to the met office app weather. Just gee cloud from Sunday and no snow what's so ever! Gotta keep the faith

I think Sundays event won't be much to write home about now, might see a bit in the early hours so on to the next chase snow showers! Lol. When will we know a little more about how many are forcast and what are the best models for showing it?

Loving the Mod Thread this afternoon as the SE gang have panic attacks about the warm sector showing for the far SE. It's only one run and they will be fine for snow but funny to see the change in their posts. Maybe my post about Karma might actually happen lol.

Hey mate, I think the Midlands is good if your in the East of the region but those in the West are going to be watching from afar I think. Hope I am wrong

Think the further east you are the better chance of seeing decent snow but suppose it will all depend on how big the showers are and how far they will get. I am hoping we get something decent but Hinckley is pretty much bang in the middle of England, would love to say we are East but that's wishful thinking

Cheers mate, yeah more of a now cast as we approach it. Think we need to hope for good showers from the east but that is dependant on direction and toughs. Streamers are great if you are in one but if your 5 miles south or north its like chinese torture! Lol hope all the Midlands get some decent falls and it says around for a bit. The other week was great but it was gone in 36 hrs

Any idea mate when the exact track of the low will be pretty nailed or will it go right to the wire and be a radar/lamppost watch. The models seem to change very run which is normal but small changes may have dramatic effect for snow on Sunday for all us Midlanders

I assume this isn't from showers from the east and more of a frontal battle from the SW mate? I think the snow for sunday keeps going that little bit further SE with nearly every run?

Yeah you can see the drier zone behind the front there as well which I have heard people talk about maybe for this front. I'd bank thay kinda set up now lol

After just reading some more comments on the Model Thread from some twrups down south moaning about the north (which for them is north on the M25, I actually do hope they miss out as Karma! Lol Rant over, I will retreat back into watching from a distance lol

GfS and Icon tonight not great for snow lovers in the Midlands unless you live right on the east limits. Is the writing on the wall? Hummmm we will wait an see, but the trend is not our friend. Can anyone tell me not to worry? Lol

The Mod Thread is getting a bit feisty tonight! Lol TBF I am fed up of hearing about the SE but have to read through all the rubbish to try and find out what the models are showing. Is it wrong I want the lot to drop South so we all just get showers?

I suppose we have to throw the cards up and see what comes down now in terms of snow and who will get what (If any) and how much. I love some people's enthusiasm! I think all the disappointments over the many years has left me with scare tissue. We had 6cm the other day which was nice, but it's been so long since we have several inches and a good dump of snow. We didn't get loads from the BFTE here
