I guess we have to face the reality that the weather now, is what is becoming a "traditional" christmas weather, so at the least, expectations won't be broken if this becomes the expectation

13.5c damp and miserable, I guess technically it's seasonal as we're still in Autumn until the 21st

Surprised to get below 0, almost at -1c now

Not as cold as the other night only reached a low of -4.5c, still cold for this time of year though and it still looked nice & frosty outside in the shaded areas at least, up to 1.1c now, not sure we'll even reach below 0c tonight with cloud on the way and then the rain (I'll believe we're getting snow on the coast when I see it lol)

Looking like a peak high of 0.7c here, now we go back to the freezer

A low of -6.1c not bad for the coast, not bad at all, now back into positive though at 0.3c

-5.5c coldest night of the year and since 2010 I think, 2018 beast only managed -5.1c here

peaked at a high of 1.3c at 1pm, now we're down to -2.9 compared to yesterday at same time we were at -1.6, think tonight will be a cold one

Got to -3.2c then went up an hour ago to -2.9c now it's on the way down again at -3c

Really starting to drop now, down to -3.1c, probably be the coldest night of the year and probably since 2018 (was that when we had the Beast?) for the coast

A toasty high of 0.4c, most of the frost has gone, tomorrow and Thursday look good for frost though until the change to warmth comes in on Friday

To be fair we did have a decent summer with some extremes, so perhaps it's too greedy of us to hope for a colder Christmas
