  5. MetO were spot on in forecasting the 04:00 hrs snow event which is happening right now and to expect 1-2cm

  16. Croydon Council will send out gritting teams in a few hours time, but it is difficult when raining due to grit being washed away. It's still game on for heavy snow from Monday
  17. BBC forecasts will change here and there. They are TOLD what to say and not what they really think is going to happen. That's what happens when you work for the government!! Don't worry, heavy snow will occur on Mon/Tue over the SE
  18. MetO love sitting on the fence at times like now for example. All they are doing is covering themselves. Anyone can say on national TV it could be rain, sleet or snow. Don't worry, the SE is going to get heavy snow on Mon/Tue for starters
  19. Same here JP. Woke up with that warm glowing tummy feeling and just had to quickly view the models with delight. According to UKMO, -4c upper temps will be over the SE from 12h which indicates a wintry mix
  20. GFS 0Z has upgraded the colder period to next weekend. Monday/Tuesday heavy snow event is still on the cards
