Will go either way from here on mate. It’ll either intensity further as more moisture is injected from mixing out of colder air, or it’ll turn to rain. Option 1 would probably bank us a decent covering. I’m favouring option 2 though unfortunately.
Radar looks like the PPN is quite heavy heading our way and over us currently, who knows?

As @Backtrack said bigger flakes falling now too.

Pivot and stall hopefully

Disappointing here some patchy accumulations on the grass and rooftops, seems too wet on the floor for it to begin to settle on pavements etc melting on impact.
-
If it keeps snowing surely it’ll freeze the roads eventually and begin to settle…?
-
Heavy snow as backtrack said not settling on roads yet beginning to on grass

Eight hours snow followed by ice pellets than back to snow isn't bad.
Is that what it shows though? I’m drunk what do I know

Looks like it, so how can it turn to rain if you are north of the front throughout? Also I can't see how any wrap around is going to affect us as the region is to the north of it.
Am I reading that chart right?
You are, I’m just getting wayyyyy too caught up in the latest BBC forecasts. Sucks to be me!

Personally I think we’ll see snow till lunchtime, then rain till teatime, then back to snow for a short time. A mess of an event.
Will you give me a free Uber of McDonald’s if that is the case.. might need it

I'm sure it has been infiltrated by Daily Express journalists, do what you do with the Daily Express, and don't read that thread.
I don’t know what they’re hoping to achieve by ramping so much about snow that hardly ever comes off, year after year I’ve seen it now. It just makes them look uneducated in meteorology.

anyone else been completely lead up the garden path not by the models but by some of the people posting and ramping in the mad thread? Because me too…

Is this PPN supposed to intensify at anytime later? It’s pretty much stopped snowing here completely.

Should probably be glad the precip isn’t reaching the ground. It’s 4.0C. Would just soak everywhere
I was just thinking it feels a bit too warm here to snow??? Is the temperature supposed to fall through the day?

I do think it would turn after 3 but there seems to be a break in PPN at 3 before it starts up again after dark
