IM seeing a new low forming off the coast of Peacehaven. There is definitley a circulation starting. This could well feed some snow up into the M23 region in an hour or so
the boundary between rain/sleet and graupel snow seems to be a vertical line from Heathrow through Weybridge, down to Dorking and Horsham. West of that its snowy east is still a little too warm. Depends how the low moves from here.
Very heavy graupel enough to build up a about half centimetre of slush puppy over everything in Godalming DP 0.6C needs to drop a bit. Not sure where the boundary between the heavy graupel and heavy snow is. Under the green on the radar
The arm of preciptation which is coming into the new mesoscale low stretches out into the channel as a dry feature and then loops round all the way clockwise past devon and out towards Scarboro way in the NE. What an interesting set up.
