    Spring 2013 and summer 2012. So the period of June 2012-May 2013 was utter pants from my POV. Not the same calendar year OK but still within a year period.

    Worst was 2013 by miles. March was just like a Scandinavian winter but most of all I remember the fact there were no leaves on the trees til late May where I lived, it was utterly depressing and just sad. Spring 2020 was fantastic.

    I just noticed that outside my apartment, the only place with snow still lying around the entire building is a spot localised exactly outside my bedroom window.

    I heard a lot about this all over the midlands and north, but living in Buxton, Derbs at the time, I remember absolutely nothing about it - and I sure would have done had it happened at my location, since that date is my birthday. I think it must have completely gone in a circle around NW Derbyshire. Remember absolutely nothing happening.

    It's OK if I'm not travelling anywhere at that time. If I'm not then I'd take a window from 20th December - mid January. Outside that, milder.

    Last time I was on here, 3 days ago, people were hyping up some cold spell. I just checked my forecast - lowest high is 6°C. What happened to that then?

    I'm one of the few people who actually keep weather records on here. I can say, from 1st December - 23rd January, the mean temperature has been 0.3°C below the average. So, it could be considered "slightly cooler than average". Not mild, and not very cold. All in the data.

    Nearly 17°C in the lounge. Bloody helvete.... times like this I could do with AC, had to take my clothes off.

    I had a Thai red curry to celebrate New Year, as such I still haven't put the heating on even though it's 14.1°C inside.

    13:46 13.9°C in the lounge. Been exercising and now I'm so hot I'm sitting down with no top on at all.

    16.3°C, in the lounge. I turned the heating off as I felt too warm, now is about right.
