Were expecting Storms of N.France to develop and move into the SE/London. Its a nowcast situation and you just need the trigger for it

Just got home from work, is the southeast a bust, for example my location, or is there still a high chance for me to get some action?

A possibly very historical and exciting day to come tomorrow.
You thinking of chasing tomorrow Supa? I am able to, but to be quite honest, I think I could be in the sweet spot! All eyes will be to the South, and I will be off the mark if I detect any possible misses to the W or the E, the East being more likely I would say.
I can’t wait to analyse the inevitable forecasts come tomorrow morning. I will no doubt stand out in the rain just purely to cool down, given the predicted highs of tomorrow. The rain will probably actually feel warm!
do you think the storm would affect me here in the very far south east?

I am staying put, or at least local. Not a bad omen, it is just that I think Belper/Derby may do ok tonight and I have no idea which way to go if I did chase. I have flashbacks to 4th July 2015 whereby I went out chasing despite things looking good for Derbyshire. I saw the storm but only caught the tail end where Derby got hammered. I could have saved petrol and got a better show. Tonight looks similar.
Gloucester is definitely a good bet though, well into the best risks on all forecasts
is my strong thought of the storms heading south east delusional or more of a possibility now, i have high hopes, just asking for more info from you

I would ignore thjs Metcheck tracker, use lightning maps and rainfall radar to judge the direction of movement
Okay just metcheck has done amazing for me in the past
-
if its now heading straight to the south east, i only cut out an area, didnt edit anything on the radar ;-;

Absolute BEAUTIFUL update from ConvectiveWeather there...
"UPDATE 20:00 UTC MDT expanded in size to highlight areas where lightning most likely to occur overnight. Any thunderstorms on the southern flank with unimpeded inflow (particularly in a zone from the West Country across the south and east Midlands) could produce very frequent lightning."
Was i correct about it already moving south east....
