    The days are much longer now and i am looking forward to this snow event this evening for sure but i have a feeling some people will be disappointed esp by the coast and in city centres. Met Office under estimated temperature rise!

    With the wind coming from the south it will start to raise temperatures to +2 to +4c on the southcoast- so rain and sleet likely. 3-6 hours of snow for East Anglia tho.

    Temperature rising fast in the Feb Sun. Could be rain and sleet for Central London if it reaches +3 to +5c this afternoon.

    Have seen it all before when snow was forecast and then it turned into hardly anything

    This 'snow event' will produce a covering of snow for the South East - with maybe 5-10 cms over higher ground and hills .... before turning to drizzle and light rain and temperatures climb to +1 to +3c ... so a gradual thaw of any lying snow .... especially as the sun sets at 5pm now.... Places like Central London will be lucky to see any lying snow as temperatures likely to be 1-3c above freezing ...
