Well its been snowing here in North Herts all afternoon, but its so light that it will take at least five years for 1cm to accumulate!
Anyway can't complain as we have had six decent snowfalls (three inches upwards) since the first snowfall in October.
Same here (10 miles North of Hertford). Getting a nice covering again after Mondays 6 inch covering.
This is our fifth decent snowfall for this winter already.
Ppn has really intensified over North London and wind picking up here. Small squall line developing? Edit: Wind has dropped again, but still snowing quite heavy here.
Well I am located in the most Northern tip of the region, in North East Hertfordshire. Also live in a elevated area on the East Anglian Heights (East Chilterns).
May have over an hours worth of snow then........
About the same here in Buntingford, North East Hertfordshire. Currently snowing heavily here. I noticed that the Ppn is increasing to the North of London. :o
I think either the Chilterns Hills in Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire (North West of London), or the East Anglian Heights (East extension of Chilterns) in North Hertfordshire (North of London) could well see the highest snowfall. The splitting of the Occluded front is currently being shown on the fax charts around these elevated areas.
Got a feeling that we may do well out of this in Hertfordshire. Hertfordshire has done wonders this winter already! We are far enough East to get the showers, but also far enough West to stay out of the warm cell long enough. 10 to 15cm.
