  1. Although cloudy with tiny glimpses of blue skies, local weather station reporting 17°c, i'll take that after Tuesday's deluge.
  2. Absolutely battering it down on the Yorkshire Wolds currently, sounds thoroughly unpleasant outside, looking on the radar we are on the northern edge of a squall line rattling across East Yorkshire.
  3. I took a pic from the same spot about 6 weeks ago, slight improvement but we are going to be well into spring before some of this land dries up, no good for this years harvest.
  4. SunnyG I just say it as i see it, if u liquidised cardboard, it would taste as bland as Corona
  5. In Absence of True Seasons Corona is bland tasteless rubbish, akin to drinking cardboard, no wonder peeps stick a slice if lime in it....
  6. Pished it down leaving work around 5.15, treacherous leaving Bridlington, that was followed up by a few beefy showers upto 6.30 at home, hopefully cleared for the evening
  7. Same for me, pages/threads taking an age to load.
  8. Lovely day on the Yorkshire Coast today, albeit chilly and then yet again its pi55ing it down this evening, more water that we don't need!
  9. mike57 my neighbour was 'drilling' until 10pm tonight at the farm he manages, 'got to get on whilst you can' was his mantra when he messaged me this evening.
  10. Just my tuppence worth, but batteries are not the answer, never have been... horribly inefficient method of propulsion for numerous reasons, technology will and has moved beyond them thankfully.
  11. Lovely sunny day on the Yorkshire Coast, yesterdays strong breeze has subsided, currently 12°c and blue skies, enjoying being outside pottering wearing just a jumper
  12. raz.org.rain yep, that pretty much sums it up tbf, seems to be a lot of angst in the weather enthusiast's community at the mo, understandably.
  13. NEVES SCREAMER this recent weather pattern has been a drag tbh, i am personally sick to the back teeth of it, you always stick your colours to the mast NS and have always been clear about your weather preference, which we are all entitled to, don't quite get the 'pile on' tonight tbh
  14. Looked out the window this morning, blue skies and sunshine, great... went outside and its blowing a hoolie and ruddy freezing at least its not raining, yet
  15. Hanging washing outside in Yorkshire in winter , there might be an odd day that is an exception to rule but really this is a fanciful notion.
  16. Methuselah sunburn in February, wow you must have skin like a Rizla
  17. *Stormforce~beka* have never worn sunscreen in this country tbh only ever used it when abroad, not trying to be clever by that statement either, old leather skin me
  18. Weather Enthusiast91 winter coat never made it out of the cupboard this past winter, fleece jacket has been sufficient most days, as for sunscreen, i'll give it a glance in July hopefully
  19. I will not try and post all the complicated stuff, but reading between lines, no point washing the car for the next 2 weeks and my water butts will be full! *Subject to change* possibly/maybe?
  20. mike57 it really is getting tedious now....a day or two that offers a glimmer of hope and then a kick in the nads, rinse and repeat, we really need a dry spell...
  21. 78/79 similar here, pleasant day on the East Coast today but log burner ticking away this evening.
  22. I find the dark winter days post xmas thoroughly depressing, go to work in the dark, come home in the dark, it is so refreshing that i can now drive home at 5pm in daylight, it really improves my mood. The weather can do as it pleases for me generally in winter apart from damp crap that seems to make knee and Back play up. In general i can't wait for warm, dry sunny weather so i can be outside doing what i please, i hate being cooped up inside...
