    Very warm and humid here. Dark clouds all around me, but I feel like the risk of thunderstorms is going to be further north than where I am.

    Hopefully I get something here. Unfortunately I am just outside of the yellow risk for Thunderstorms but am remaining hopeful.

    Just had the heaviest shower of the year. A bunch of hail was mixed in with it. Last about 2 minutes and then it just disappeared. It was heavy rain and hail one second and the next there wasn't even a drop coming from the sky. Very weird.

    Here it's overcast but I'm forecast to have a slight chance of thunder anywhere from Midday to 4pm so I'm keeping hopeful. Unfortunately the clouds are gonna be here all day which will limit it slightly.

    Yep, exactly what I'm seeing here apart from the heavy showers. It's just been an overcast day with no sunshine or rain at all. Not holding much hope for any thunder at all.

    I don't really have the best of feelings about today. While yes, the radars do look like there will be some cells popping up, most of these won't be thunderstorms. We had a cell develop right over us yesterday and not even one rumble of thunder came over it. I'm going to wait until we warm up a bit to get excited. But I do hope you get something today.

    Hopefully we get something in the South West tonight. I got a 32% chance of thunderstorms here. We've had a bunch of very heavy showers pass through yet no thunder so I'm crossing my fingers for later tonight.

    May be. It's dying down a bit now, but I'd say we heard a good 10 loud rumbles of thunder and I saw 4 lightning strikes to accompany.

    I'd say a thunderstorm warning the primary threat is thunder with a few lightning C-G strikes possible, whereas a Lightning warning probably focuses more towards C-G strikes. I could be wrong though.

    I bet it is. It's just started raining for us, but doesn't look like any thunder / lightning will spawn from this unfortunately.

    Met office saying that we're under thunderstorms now, but not a spot of rain!

    My alexa said that it was currently raining for me and I could expect 20mm in 15 minutes, but not a drop has fallen.
