    While yes, the storms may (and probably wont) be as bad as yesterday, no warnings have been 'removed' as per say, just shrunk down to where they think the thunderstorms will have the most chance of happening.

    The yellow warning for thunderstorms has been updated. "Warning has been removed from parts of the north. However the impact level has been increased to high, given the potential for exceptional rainfall."

    Every day at this time I have been forecast around 50% for thunderstorms and torrential rain each time, and then the next hour the forecast changes to sunny skies and no storm chance. Hopefully this time it stays, even though I don't have high hopes.

    I just checked the Arome, and it seems like the system moving south-west will die out just before it hits me. Sad.

    They put me in a 45% risk.. That has to be wrong, I dont reckon anything south west of Bristol will see anything.

    Last night was amazing. The lightning was constant over Ilfracombe and Minehead. I could see it from where I live. Not a hint of thunder just constant flashes. Only the 2nd time I've ever seen this. Once again, my chance for storms today has been decreased from 77% to 29%, so I'm really not expecting anything spectacular, but I remain hopeful.

    Netweather gave me an 80% chance for a storm today, and then decreased it to 14% the hour after. I have another day of a 77% chance for a storm according to it, but I don't have any high hopes.

    Yep, the cells were moving north. Seemingly died down a lot since it passed over me, I don't think anything will come from this, but there is a small chance.

    Some cells just developed near me in Taunton, we had a brief shower and it didn't equate to much. The cells seem to be intensifying a bit though.

    yep, my bad. It was amazing to see the lightning. There was no thunder with it because we were too far away just constant flashes.

    I just sat there for 15 minutes watching the constant lightning that happened in weston. I live in taunton, so nothing hit me. It's amazing to see thunder so bright and so quickly! Reminds me of that lightning show in 2018.

    Closest to lightning I've been for a while! I can see it in the clouds!!! It's moving north so I don't expect to see it for much longer, but atleast it's cooled down a lot now. The thunder or lightning didn't impact us, but atleast I've seen some lightning! Have a nice night everyone.

    I believe everything that could happen to hinder my chances of thunder has happened, which is sad. Great news for people in wales though, hope you enjoy the lightning and thunderstorms!
