No doubt about it September has been better than July by a long chalk. July just felt grey cool and wet. Although some wet stuff in September it has been warm. And felt warmer than July. And as others have said above. Let's keep the warmth going as long as possible. We had the chill rubbish long enough. Let's squeeze a few more weeks of warmth out .

Yes mate. My club Wolves aren't exactly setting the world on fire (weather pun). Coming in to your time of the year now with the cool/cold so at least that will cheer you up after the Sheffield Utd disaster yesterday!

Splendid afternoon with broken cloud and good sunny spells. Fairly breezy. A warm feel around 19c. Pity the high pressure system signalled for the weekend now appears to slip away quite quickly Sunday. Noticeable now how the light fades away around 18.45/19.00. Four and a half weeks until the clocks go back by one hour.

Agree. I can cope with it until xmas. It's the long months of cold Jan to March I find depressing. And really depressing.

I just feel after the chilly spring and non summer some folks just want to appreciate an above average autumn with a bit of warmth for the last few weeks. Once we get to November I will give way !

Yes. We had a brilliant April May in the lockdown spring 2020. Temps up in mid high 20's at times. It's about time we had another decent spring.

Hope so Don. For us warm summer lovers it has been a long hard slog. Two thirds of June and the first 8 or 9 days of September excepted. Go back 1st March to now. A time warmth can be on the agenda depending on the way the weather sets itself up. An extremely dissapointing period to be mostly endured. Made the more galling by central southern Europe enjoying beautiful weather the whole time. UK NW Europe left in the doldrums. Look at the coming week. Places like Budapest. Prague. Moscow all enjoying great weather. What do we get? Another flipping pile of rubbish with wind and rain off the Atlantic. Change the bloody story. Give us a break.

Great. Gang of us going to Butlins Minehead for the 'We love the 70's' mega weekend. Always nice if the weather loves us as well !

Not going to mention the events at Bramhall Lane chap. But i'm sure the weather was ok over Sheffield? Yes. Lovely mild breeze. Got the old shorts on . Determined to wear them to the bitter end.
