Went out for lunch today as, although it had started off dull and wet, the weather was picking up by lunchtime and in fact got nicer as the day went on.
Temperature maxed out at 16.0deg.C at 17:07 up from a minimum of 7.4deg.C at 06:36, humidity now 70%, there's no wind at all, pressure is 1007.8hPa steady, there was 7.6mm of rain overnight but none since early morning and the cloud cover has been slowly breaking up to 6/8 now.

The local cafe is open again so wandered down there for some lentil soup and a bacon roll (delicious!) and then wandered back home, both journeys being very pleasant in the sun.

A very brief look out of the window at 05:30 this morning confirmed that the forecast light snow was indeed falling, and was enough to cover the cars completely and even a patchy covering on the ground. Not a significant event but interesting all the same.
Temperature has climbed to 7.3deg.C up from a minimum of -2.6deg.C at 02:57, humidity is 74%, wind 2 to 4mph northwesterly, pressure is 1006.6hPa steady, there's been 0.6mm of rain equivalent today and cloud cover is 8/8.

It was a beautiful morning here with blue sky, bright sunshine and next to no wind although a bit chilly so, as I'd arranged to meet my daughter up at the pub for lunch, I decided to walk and meet her there. Half way up the road and with no warning I found myself in the middle of a hail storm! This month is proving to be ridiculously unreliable.
Max temperature today was 11.2deg.C at 15:23 up from a minimum of -2.2deg.C at 05:54 and currently 9.2deg.C, humidity is 61%, wind 0 to 4mph northwesterly, pressure 1009.4hPa steady, there's been hail recorded today as 1.2mm of rain equivalent and cloud cover is 6/8.

It was damp on the ground earlier on but is drying up nicely now. Doesn't look like more rain in the short term but we'll see.
Temperature minimum for today was 3.2deg.C at midnight and now up to 7.6deg.C, humidity is 75%, wind 1 to 4mph northwesterly, pressure 1002.2hPa going up like a rocket, there's been 20.8mm of rain in the last 24 hours of which 4.2mm today and although cloud cover is 7/8 it's still reasonably bright.

The temperature started dropping around half-ten this morning and the rain started just the back of eleven. The garden is making a noise like a child sooking the last of its milkshake through a straw.

It used to be that Scotland had two seasons; Winter and August. It now seems to have changed to Winter and April because we're going backwards weather-wise at the moment. Brrrrr! Tomorrow is to be cold with rain and wintry showers apparently. Oh joy...

It's Friday, it's five o'clock and it's Crackapack ofbeersopen. Since I said goodbye to Shaky Peg, my garden seems to have been designated as the preferred location for beers and debauchery, so, what can I say but here we go again.

Just been out in the back garden having a couple of beers with a friend and, blooming 'eck Mavis, it's a tad chilly...

Well broken cloud this morning has been replaced with less well broken cloud this afternoon and it's still a tad on the cool side, however I'm not complaining as it's a perfectly usable day.

Friday was a lovely day with a maximum temperature of 18.1deg.C although it cooled down substantially in the evening, not that that hindered the beer disposal in any way. Saturday was a write-off as a result. Sunday, however, was a delightful day with sunshine, temperature up to 17.3deg.C and a picnic lunch at my daughter's new house.
Today started well with the temperature at 09:30 being 10.4deg.C and pressure was 1030hPa but now the temperature is 9.8deg.C up from a minimum of 2.3deg.C at 02:43, humidity is 72%, wind is 1 to 4mph southerly, pressure is 1021.7hPa dropping like a stone, there's been no rain in the last 24 hours (nor since the 18th of April,) and cloud cover is 8/8 but just thin enough to keep thing looking bright.

Not quite a clear blue sky today but the cloud there is is very thin and very high so the temperature is climbing unabated. Lovely day.

Winter seems to be well gone here. It's a beautiful day with wall to wall sunshine, blue sky and just a hint of a breeze. Just the sort of day that empties a fridge of beer.

My second jab yesterday was painless, over in a flash and had no after effects whatsoever. All in all a very positive experience. The consultation with my respiratory consultant today, well, not so much. Hey ho on we go. Meanwhile it's dry but overcast and reasonably mild here.

The clouds from earlier this morning have mostly disappeared now leaving yet another sunny day. Spent yesterday evening out in the back garden with a mate drinking beer and shall be repeating that particular pleasure again later, except this time there will be four of us in celebration of our new freedoms.

Well, after the frankly weedy clouds on offer a couple of days ago I'm please to see the clouds being generated today are of a far more beefy disposition. Still half of the sky is blue though so plenty of sunshine on offer.

A mostly cloudy day with occasional showers making it all in all a bit of a disappointment.
Maximum temperature was 14.7deg.C at 17:18 and the minimum was 4.1deg.C at 05:15, humidity ranged from 94% at 06:00 to 52% at 17:56, there's been next to no wind all day, pressure went from 1007.2hPa at 04:22 to 1010.6hPa at 22:14 and is rising slowly, there's been 4.2mm today and 8.6mm in the last 24 hours and cloud cover has varied between 6/8 and 8/8.
