    I always ‘feel’ that GFS gets a broad idea a couple of weeks out but gets the detail wrong nearer the time.

    Don’t forget that is just the GFS Op run. Let’s wait for the ensembles for a more measured view of the GFS model.

    After GFS was in its own when it modelled that tropical storm from nowhere before Christmas I’m inclined to think that GFS is probably better than the other models when it comes to LP systems in the Atlantic. Looking forward to how this pans out next week. Heart says yes please GFS, head (gas bill) says no ta
