OT i stayed over in Shrewsbury on the weekend & was surprised to have enough snow on Sunday to make a snowman that still lives!! Was it very local? Back OT-moderate snow here now.

I could take plenty more crisp cold but not this slushy wet cold we now have. Hopefully it will all melt away, dry up, start to freeze again only this time plenty of nice powdery snow to follow. (although it would cost me thousands more in lost revenue so maybe not!!)

Shame, seeing as it travelled right over you! This is what is missing for me-in the early 80's Shrewsbury had some right dumpings of snow, god knows what places with elevation experienced at the same time!! Blizzards on Meole Brace bank sledging, arhh........

Just had a look at the town centre cams for Shrewsbury, seems to be hardly anything there? Chucking it down here now, the last hurah of this cold snap
