    Still snowing, no break since 7am. Had a walk to local shop, heavy slush on main roads. 8cm up to now, i hope those showers coming from the northeast tag onto this lot.

    oh my kids headteacher made a decision at 8.45 wen kids already at school! On the way home now. Snowing heavy 3cm so far......mi thinks plenty more on its way looking at radar!

    Been snowing since 7am, kids just set off for school, expecting a phonecall. Got around 2cm so far coming down steady. <_<

    Goodluck Leeds, Arsenal fan myself but supports anyone against ManUtd. Looks like a gap for me in these showers but still some on the way mi thinks.

    Morning all.. Just been reading the model output discussion...got a headache now!!! Those showers are defo moving inland aiming for Barnsley but still -3 and sunny at the moment. Got a dusting last night and from what i can gather we in for a good week.

    Temp rose earlier started to rain, back to light snow now, hope the temps stay low. Hope that stream coming across Ireland brings the goodies.

    The kids are very excited and wont go to bed, they are lamp post watching, (trained em well!!) best of it is we have 1cm of snow....ah bless em

    Still wanging it down here, flakes not big but grass starting to cover. Kids have asked to got out and play....they are positive it will be gone tomorrow!

    Its moving this way, just taken dog out, plenty of fine flakes, not sticking yet tho, only to dog, hes a black labrador but looked like a badger when we got home

    I love the blob of snow u forecast just over us I got a feeling this snow is going to push a little furthur north than people think, it looks like its gathering in density and that colds hanging on.
