I think it will freeze at some point overnight....Torvill and Dean then on the school run tomorrow, then Bambi on ice when the Rotties go for walks...oh what fun !

The BBC prefer to down play and go on the cautious side...better for them to say we have some unexpected snow the day before rather than predicting it days in advance then nothing at all. That would make them look worse.

Ok !!!!! Thats it rub it in !!! Joking aside Im pleased some of us northerners have snow....this mornings outputs still remain good for the coming week...slight panic from some southerners though

That line of showers just to the north of Barnsley...ive been out with the dogs and I can see it on the horizon So frustrating...anyone Leeds/Bradford area fancy wafting it a bit more south ?

Yes even the BBC were stating cold..snow next week. They might look like amateurs now. UNLESS its a blip ( always an optimist) and normal service will resume. Keeping everything crossed.

I was either very tired last night or the wind wasn't as bad as expected. It didn't wake me...although just let the dogs out and our real Christmas tree that was lounging at the bottom of the garden has moved up the drive As has been said before I wonder whether todays wind may catch a few out.
