Morning Guys.. Well snow thawing fairly quickly, left with slush until last night, took dog out and it was like Dancing On Ice. Anyone want to have a go at predicting whats going to happen to the stuff thats moving northwards? Will it, wont it affect us. -
Above freezing here, 0.8. Im still pretty doubtful im going to get proper snow tonight. I can hear dripping on my window ledge.

Hi, no fresh snow at all, still got sum old stuff. its settling on cars like icy slush but just looking again its more of a fine snow now. Thats what elevation does for you!

I hope so just put News 24 on and all downgraded, but we might get lucky, still snowing but only lightly you can count the flakes at the moment!!

Good Afternoon guys and Mr Holmes....(enjoyed your posts this am) Had a thaw here although still plenty of the white stuff around just turned slushy on roads. Started to snow, in the last 5 mins, small flakes, as I type getting more.. Still think that we may get some snow later although wont be digging out from the bedroom window Got 2 kids who are doing a snow dance me thinks they might not want to go to school tomoro.

And do you know they seemed to be coping and more organised than today. A real community spirit, and alot more tractors lol, even the old girl was getting her steak pie and mash delivered.

In Royston but out in countryside, reading at present -6.8. It isnt freezing the slush, dunt ask me how its just not.

Its the shield for this years Fa cup,premiership, and champions league champions!!! :lol: Back to the weather... those showers are fizzlin a bit but I thinks the later ones mite produce something for this far inland. Currently -7. But been out with dog funnily enuff called EDUARDO and the slush on road not freezing!!

Mmmmmm did you know Barnsley have gave some grit to Sheffield because they running low!! The council gritted the local graveyard this am and no road gritting in Royston for 2 days.

Been snowing steadily for past 20mins, nice flakes, another cm on the cleared car.

Im in Royston, (south/west york border). Had to laugh went out with my daughter for a walk the roads thick with slush cars crawling, council in the graveyard gritting it!!

Morning all...i should have kept my mouth shut about school letting me know early...txt message from them at 5.45am!!!! We have had another 4cm overnight (just been to the wheelie bin with mi jamas on)
