My app this morning was saying it was raining as it was pelting down with snow

Heavy hail here now

Just a light dusting here. Less than yday morning. Will be gone before 10am

This little band is pepping up and heading into my area and slightly north of me.

Hail showers here now. Looking at radar there's precipitation moving in off the sea now

Snow to the left of me snow to the south (and north) here I am stuck in the middle with you

If only the precipitation would move another 10 or 20 miles north. What's stopped it getting here all day

Here's a bit of positivity. There's a good peppering of showers just to our north now so once the system pivots and starts to clear south east we should get a few of them showers hitting the whole region Bone dry here

Strange as the dew point is dropping here. -3 now. Just no precipitation lol

Been out for a walk. Nothing has fallen from the sky the past hour and the ground is beginning to dry up. Still not too breezy yet. Temp still 3c and dew point -1

Looking at that though it's not even moving west to east. It's pretty much going south to north over Ireland

Very melty. I feel if the precipitation was heavy enough there'd be more snow about. Yes as the system starts to pull away we draw in north east winds again. Hopefully the system takes its high cloud away with it pretty quick

Still a few flakes coming down but looks alot like sleet now. Temp upto 3c. Dew point -1 still. Wind picking up. Snow from last night pretty much all gone now

I'm in green sleet but still have light snow. All of last night's snow has melted and it's currently not heavy enough to stick

Local forecast has just been on and this precipitation is much further north and earlier than suggested despite him saying the system has trended south
