  1. All we've heard over the past week in the mod thread is these systems always correct south. But yesterdays and today's seems to be further north than modelled
  2. I think a fair assumption is it'll probably be fairly mobile with milder/colder shots as systems move through
  3. What is weird is seeing the clouds on sat24 moving west to east but seeing the precipitation moving east to west
  4. The scene here this morning. Hopefully will get more through today but alot of high cloud around which will scupper convection from the north sea. Will the system make it to the north of the region? Will it be snow or a slush fest? We will soon find out
  5. Well there's a nice covering here this morning. I'm at 55m and about 10miles from the coast. Could be a few surprises today I think
  6. Just drove home from work. Nothing in Durham city. Been a few flakes back in Chester as it's stuck to some cars but nothing in paths/roads/grass thought there would have been a bit more activity so hopefully that picks up into tomorrow
  7. To me it looks like the current system is further north than modelled. And also looking on sat24 and the high cloud is starting to kill off the north sea convection to the southern parts of the region.
  8. It's sometimes good to keep an eye on sat24 to get a better idea on where things are moving. A chunk of showers are heading towards the region from the north east moving in a south west direction.
  9. I'm gathering the 18z has seen a correction north? Not been on the mod thread yet but I can imagine what it's like
