Mole has burst it's banks. Horrible and cold. Car thermometer said 3 degrees C.

I have rain and mud and cold and flood alerts.....again! OH doesn't say much but predicts snow in April. So...bets being taken for a drought or washout this summer?

Excellent post MK! :-D

It's a bit naff isn't it?

Just a gut feeling.Things are advancing in nature quite a bit and the trees have that pre-Spring red glow.Nothing scientific, just my opinion. I don't see it this end of the year. I may be wrong but that's ok.

We are quite lucky I think that this storm has come to very little here today. Flood Warnings and Alerts no longer in force round here. And as much as I would love snow I don't envisage a huge snow dump this side of the year.

Hey guess what? Even after the roofers being here 2 days this week, the sunroom roof is now leaking in another place :-( -

Well been raining night on 2hrs. No appreciable wind and the rain isn't that heavy just persistent. Anyone know if it's due to get worse? I got the dog out just before the rain started so he's tuckered out now and probably won't surface til about 4pm. -

Thankfully, that was not very disruptive and no T&L here. Blue evening sky now! -

I can confirm there is NO rain at Gatwick at this point. Patchy dark clouds. Bit gusty nothing more! -

Morning all! Chilly here today and overcast. Finally the roofers have been to sort out the sunroom roof. I sorta hope we get a huge dump of rain as I would rather know sooner than later if it leaks. Block looking nicely placed. Dentist this afternoon so I shall be going from home to Weybridge and if I see anything interesting I will take a snap for you! Have a great day! -

We went to East Grinstead this morning. Three Bridges was under water. Several very deep foods all the way there. Charlwood was nearly cut off but subsiding a little now. Mole at Gatwick burst worse than Christmas Eve. The A22 from Balcombe was closed, as is the Crawley end of our road. The flooding in general is generally worse and the forecast I gather is for more persistent rain to come. Oh and the sunroom is STILL leaking!- 833 replies

Just checking in. Charlwood is bright sunshine and blue skies now, as for Reigate really. Keeping our fingers crossed the storms are not too bad as our roof still isn't done! However the rain last night didn't get in, thankfully. Agree with you AS - we have bulbs up and buds about to burst which shouldn't even be showing now. WE NEED SOME COLD AND SNOW! Someone please pop over to North Pole and ship some back- 833 replies
