The snow today here has been much wetter than 14-17 days ago (todays snow reminds me of Jan 2017). Settled on cars and grass, but not pavements and roads. The radar doesn't look great for me (Sevenoaks area) overnight, although my fingers are tightly crossed. -

It’s sleeting / snowing but it’s definitely not settling anywhere, the precipitation isn’t heavy enough -
Snow has now stopped, but for me it was the best snow of the period. The snow wasn’t as powdery dry, plus with good cloud cover, there wasn’t any sunshine melting the snow that had fallen, plus there was very little wind.

Looking at the models and trends, plus SSW, I’m fairly confident of more snow later in the month, although nothing like this spell of weather.

We've had another 3-4 cm's of snow this afternoon - It's been quite heavy at times too and it's still snowing!!

Judging by the new snow on the car roof and bonnet, I reckon we had 1-2 cm of snow overnight. Conditions now are a wintry mix of rain and sleet, albeit more rain.

I'm a 5 minutes walk from junction 5 of M25, and according to the latest radar, there should be heavy snow here in the next 10 mins or so. I'll let you know if it does.

@stevemurr - it's snizzle, not sleet - it's definitely precipitation though, that isn't rain. It's still falling but starting to lose it's intensity after gaining some momentum for 5 mins or so.

No snow here on the outskirts of Sevenoaks, although we were lucky overnight and fingers crossed for tomorrow.
