    Woke up to a couple of inches this morning and it's been snowing on and off all day. There has been a near-total thaw, but several snow showers so far this evening.

    have had snow on and off all afternoon followed by a two hour long sustained period of snow (still going) with i guess around an inch or two lying. that's a very rough guess though...

    A dusting of snow over night and a brief, moderate snow shower this morning. Lots of cloud around, hopefully I'll see something this evening into tonight.

    i seem to have been posting here surprisingly often over the last few days! another light snow shower here - nothing major, has settled on cars though and it looks from the radar as if there may be a few more flurries around for a while

    I walked home through a light snow shower this afternoon! I could probably have counted the flakes if i'd tried, but as someone said earlier, it all counts! That's two sightings of snow in 24 hours! :lol:

    i'm thrilled to announce that the "big freeze" has produced its first snow shower for Haywards Heath this evening. Temperatures look as though they *may* dip down below freezing for the first time too. Things are getting pretty severe here folks...

    woken up to negligible amounts of snow on the cars outside, probably due to a flurry or two last night.

    After a cold frosty start which seemed to contain some kind of snow on the windcreens of cars, we have high, wispy cloud and temperatures of 3.1C. It's still a beautiful day right now though.

    currently -0.4 here, although before the sun came up the temperature dipped to -6.5c :shock: :shock: this is by far the coldest i have recorded this winter, you just don't expect this 15 miles north of brighton.

    lol i think i dreamt about snow, woke up at 6.30 out of excitement, legged it to the window and looked out with blurry eyes, gave a silent cheer when i saw snow, legged it back to bed, failed to get back to sleep, got out again at 7.15 and saw there was more than i had first thought - it didn't settle too well on the roads but there's a good inch or so on cars and grass and presumably more to come :lol:
