Not a bad day today, less windy, plenty of sunshine. Had a heavy hail shower at about 6pm which was quite strange.
-
Was expecting it to be quite bad here in Swansea but apart from the odd 40mph gust at around 2pm it was actually a nice dry afternoon with plenty of sunshine.
-
Yep 47mph at Mumbles. Definitely no "storm" here.

Not that windy this morning, gusting around 20-30mph, theres a small window from 12pm till 2pm that it may gust higher but im not sure if a amber warning is needed. People just need to avoid beaches untill this evening when the sun comes out and winds ease.

Turned out to be another very wet day. The ground is extremely saturated here now with quite a bit of flooding down the Gower.
-
Just a horrific day of weather. Strong winds, heavy rain all day which ended with a good hour of torrential rain late evening. Now drizzle/showers and still windy. Awful.
-
There were a few heavy showers overnight but its back to more sunshine today, feeling less humid and more cooler with a nice southwesterly breeze

Cloudy, humid day, followed by light rain and drizzle for much of the evening. All in all, a very poor day for storms in south wales. Boring
-
Heavy shower out of nowhere here in Swansea. So isolated though. Need widespread heavy showers

Second shower in 39 days, no thunder. A very poor start to the season here in south wales. Looks very hit and miss even with rain in the next few days too.

Anyone got a cape and lifted index map for sunday/Monday ?

Reached 28C earlier today in the city, it was even 26C down the Gower. It's currently 21C at 11.53PM.

A few clouds bubbled up just inland of swansea but nothing has come of it. We reached 27C today. Feeling very warm and humid.

Despite the forecasts of rain, etc after midnight from the BBC and Met Office sites, from looking at the satellite imagery and trajectory of the clouds I currently see nothing of value. Certainly no storms, maybe the occasional drop of light and patchy rain at best?
But things can develop quickly so I'm not ruling it out completely.
Thanks mate, been in work all day so haven't been able to catch up. I've noticed the thunderstorms crossing the Midlands though!

Anything for south Wales later or has that gone?
-
Morning all, very murky start here , 18.5C and nearly 90% humidity. Feeling very humid and sticky
-
Don't even think we managed 0.1mm of rain earlier but as I mentioned earlier its the first rain in 33 days. It did feel cooler under thick clouds. The sun came back out at about 4pm to leave a beautiful evening. Its felt humid and sticky with a high of 23C.

Day 32 of no rain. Humidity was higher today. High of 25C. Doesn't look like it will get below 16C tonight so a sticky one. Would be nice to get a heavy shower or thunderstorm next few days but chances look quite minimal.

It's 25 degrees here...alot of high cloud and nice breeze blowing

Radar looks quite interesting, very wet night here for sure. Could see a rumble of thunder maybe?
