I, too am fascinated by anything Titanic related
My Granny was a youngster in Belfast when the ship was built - I remember her telling me all about it, and since then I've been hooked on the history.
Shame they made that bleedin awful film a few years ago - 'A Night To Remember' beats it hands down !

Thank you very much
It's funny how these photo opportunities arise when you least expect them to lol

16 years ago today - can't believe it has gone by so fast!
I lived in Nottingham at the time and remember it very very well, it was chucking it down with rain the previous night, I remember 'Charlie' the Central TV weathergirl forecasting more rain for overnight. Surprised as hell when I woke up to amazingly deep snow, power lines down - total whiteout!
Didn't take long for the Radio Trent FM snowline to start! Went on all weekend it did and reported widespread school closures from the sunday evening etc..
Not seen anything like it since and it's scary to think that if I have to wait another 16 years I'll be in my 50's!!!

Anybody listening to 'TalkSport' at the moment
The two presenters are having a discussion - with the 'main' one insisting that Tornado's and Hurricanes are the same thing and neither exist in Britain. He also totally poo-poohing the idea that GB has highest amount of tornadoes psm
Does my head in - cause the vast majority of the great british public lap all this rubbish up and take it as gospel

A tornado has swept through an area of north-west London leaving a trail of destruction behind.
Several buildings and cars were badly damaged when the freak weather hit Kensal Rise.
Police said no-one had been hurt, but fire and ambulance crews were still at the scene in Chamberlayne Road. The road has been closed.
One witness said there was heavy rain and sleet and he saw debris "falling through the air".
