Just checked my rain gauge and we've had exactly an inch of
rain overnight and up to now.
Good for my young leek crop.

Of last nights storm on the East Yorks coast.

very strong winds and torrential rain .

Wow, I've never know a storm like that .. as close to constant lightening as
possible. Thunder rolling rather than really loud. High gusts of wind and absolutely
torrential rainfall. Power off and on a couple of times.
That was quite an experience !!

In the last hour we've had a little cloud cover which has helped it feel more comfy
I think . Most of the day here though its been a scorcher.
I registered 29 C.
Hoping to get some of the rain showers .. but we shall see.

Wow, what a treat to see the Super Blue Moon tonight.
It's stunning here, just over the rooftops. So big and bright.

Long lasting thunderstorm here.
Just steady moderate rain with it.

Quite a pleasant afternoon here too, a little sunshine to enjoy.
Sounds horrible further up the coast.

Just to wish the local folks .. Happy Yorkshire Day
I felt the need of a light jacket for my walks today.
Just the merest 'mizzle' rain, mostly dry and overcast.
I'd rather this than baking .. but its not great for holiday makers and businesses
I understand.

No T & L but a torrential downpour.
Water soon an inch deep around the hard paving areas.
Going to be a soaker of a w/e .

We've reset the system, any disagree reactions that were given while it was anonymous have been removed, and it's now back to being transparent again.
Fair enough. I wasn't at all sure a negative reaction would be a benefit.
I still feel a heart emoticon would be nice as sometimes a 'like' isn't appropriate.
(Though it comes up as a heart shape)
I can just reply underneath with a better response I know.
