Yay, same here, a lovely storm, T&L and very heavy rain.
I opened the door and let a cool mist spray of water fall over me.

LoL that's one way of saying it exploded !- 4

Watched it launch .. what a sight.
Then it looked like it had blown up ??
Can't gather from the commentary if that is so.- 2

Just sat out for half an hour with a cuppa.
12 C .. full sunshine, calm and not a cloud in the sky.
Beautiful.

NASA has announced the four-person crew for the Artemis II mission, which will set the stage of the first woman and person of colour to step on the moon, as well as paving the way for the future of long-term human exploration missions to the moon, and eventually Mars

The frogs have been very vocal the last couple of days & on inspection of the pond, I have frog spawn! A bit early I fear as frosts are still possible .
@Beverley Lassthe duck weed is voracious & often needs ‘culling’ but it’s so effective at oxygenating the pond.
The same here in my tiny wildlife pond, I saw several frogs one day and now have a lovely
clump of spawn. I think it naturally sinks a bit in the cold and may well survive.
I used to gather duck weed from my wild pond to feed the goldfish in their separate pond.
They love to eat it. Now I'm having to give them lightly boiled/shelled garden peas instead, lol
Thanks.

Morning all,
Great to read your snow reports and see the pics.
Wow, some impressive amounts.
Lots of stories on the TV news as well.
Here, in the East .. heard it raining heavily at 6.35am.
'That's it' I thought, chances gone .. but it has turned to moderately
heavy snow. Struggling to settle on roads, but the grass is white.

Very fine wet snow here now, but more like snizzle really. Temperature is 2.1C with a dewpoint of 0.1C so as marginal as it gets.
Absolutely. Set off for a short dog walk round the village.
Snowing lightly for a few mins, then turned to sleet.
Rain on the way back. Not pleasant to be out I.M.O.

Just been down to the end of the garden to check temp…-5c current recording.
HOWEVER, I’ve just seen a UFO!! Disregard the green/blue reflection of the moon on the camera lens….watch the small orange object. It looked like a flame, like one of those lit lanterns but it moved much faster than a lantern would be ‘floating’. Any ideas? Could it be a meterorite??
Interesting ! It would be silent I guess or you would have known it was an aircraft.
Did it speed up at one point ?
I saw something similar a few years back. One light came along horizontal (thought it was the ISS at first) then we spotted another
rise up vertically .. we watched amazed as they met together .. and then they zoomed off away in different directions at
the most incredible speeds. Never been able to work out what we had witnessed. It happened on the night my father in law
died. So odd.
Thanks for the video.- 1

Just a light frost for me.
Nice to see everyone's pics, thanks. -
Very heavy hailstorm here as I type.
Nasty to be out !- 1

I must admit I'm very muddled as to whether this is going to be much
of a snow event .. or not.
I keep reading around and watching forecasts.
I do love a bit of snowfall, but can't be excited if it melts on the ground or
is immediately swept away by rain.
We shall see !

(You do well to keep your duck weed @RebsAbbo, mine dies over winter and
I struggle to find more. Illegal to sell they say)
Just seen a large frog in my little wildlife pond.
He'll need to tuck up tight somewhere in the coming days of cold / snow.
Also two new visitors the last couple of days, after a drink, bird seed and nuts.
