    EC 12 z seems to be doing a gfs atm. Flip flopping like my uncle dave on Blackpool beach. Poor output imo

    It's not a strong high over Greenland tbh. Its more of an Atlantic ridge. The 1070mb reading isnt a true large strong geeenland high

    Seem to be a lot of pontificating over things way out in fi ie Exeter updates, ssw etc. Maybe stick to the models within reliable time frames. Might be better health wise

    Yes an upgrade which has been worse since introduced on gfs. Wonder if a politician has been involved havnt checked the gfs control to see how accurate that is?

    I think imo they are and always will be vague. There obv pros but I don't await with excitement when the word cold or snow a month away pops up. Guess they are looking at said background signals etc

    It's pretty silly in respect to its output run to run. Comical compared to, gem, ukmo and ecm. Imo

    Looking at the 0z and 6z gfs both in the same ballpark as to say. TEITS made a good point just now tho. the synoptics these days don't seem to build a block run to run with anything you could hang your hat on. Imo this also applies at the 120/144 hr Mark. Stange times nhp wise for sure but interesting at the same time

    Don't think it's a case of writing things off but the mo and nhp is shocking. I'm a real coldie but looking at things there's a chance the rest of winter could be rank. Bit like looking into the future ie ssw etc

    I have to admire your interest and great comments etc. I can't take any positives from the nhp or forecasts from the meto etc. The 12z EC sums it up for me. I get the things can change point of view but maybe not??? Enjoy the chase
