Morning all Now snow here in Nottingham, but the amount of black ice is incredible, its leathal out there this morning, and now a fine drizzle is falling on the ice.. Cheers FC

Yes I know, my wife called me and said it is snowing again, this is the second Charentaise snow event of the winter, there is another snow day predicted for Tuesday too, not sure if it will come off though. I am stuck in london at The France Show at Earls Court selling the wonderful climate of the Charente :-) Cheers FC

Morning All Light snow falling already in the City of London this morning, does not bode well for getting people to the France Show at Earls Court today, attendance yesterday was very poor, so it could be a very boring day. But the snow is great, just wish I could be out there in it, apologies if you don't like snow I guess the snow will only pep up during the course of the day... Cheers FC

I know what you mean about much needed snow, though its going to make the sheet ice in Nottingham much worse when the fresh snow compacts. We are up to 3 broken wrists and a bruised hip, 2 cars in ditches and one crash from folks in our office on Sherwood Rise so the down side is mounting up with this cold spell... I'm heading back to London at lunchtime could be a fun drive.... Cheers FC

wow the flakes are getting bigger in Notts City Centre they can almost be described as small snow flakes now.... come on lets have some real woppers now... please..... Cheers FC

Having looked out of another window I think it may be more than just snizzle it is settling on the middle of the main road here so may be slightly better than half a centimeter and the heavy snizzle is still falling... if it could just change to real flakes for half an hour it would look great out there cheers FC

I'll believe it when I see it, its pretty dark here in the centre of Nottingham but nothing is falling, I think it is the urban dome effect over Notts city centre.. :-) Cheers FC

Afternoon Folks Well after the initial excitment of something falling from the sky here in Nottingham it never intensified beyond a very light drizzle, its all a damp squib at the moment, and its warmed up enough for a thaw of anything lying to set in.... Cheers FC

Hi Folks Just driven up from Cognac in France to SE London, snow warnings all the way but I did not see a single flake until we got off the shuttle in Folkstone where snow was gently falling, then it got heavier around the Maidstone area before stopping again near Detling. Take care this week folks, I've got loads of driving to do so got full winter supplies in the car, tea/coffee/chocolate/wellies/shovel/blankets I have even put the snow chains in the boot just in case, would love to be able to use them in the UK, never needed them up to now. Morning Folks Just noticed that snow has fallen here in SW France, only a dusting, but that was a suprise, wondering were I will hit the snow when driving up through France to London tomorrow.. Cheers FC

Morning Folks from SW France The colder weather arrived here yesterday, big drop in temps from 16 down to 4 degrees, a frost last night too. I'm really looking forward to getting back to Se England tomorrow, looks like it is gonig to be an interesting week next week. Happy New Year to one and all Cheers FC
