  1. Right, camera is set up in the spare bedroom, going to video this one! And the storm to the south /south west has intensified dramatically in the meantime.
  2. Storms building to the south are having that look of 'last night' about them. Lightning is starting to be as frequent. Could build into another monster.
  3. Lots of elevated lightning to my south / southeast. Looks like the new cells south of Eastbourne in the Channel are becoming increasingly electrified. Lovely!
  4. The storm just passed to the east of me here - wonderful cloud structure which was as impressive as the CG's
  5. Just checked my weather station - at 1.57am the rainfall was recorded at 202.2mm/hr. That's a quite a lot!
  6. It is the area north of Caens that has suddenly exploded that I am keeping my eye on. That will more directly hit the SE and I suspect further storms will build to the west of that.
  7. Not really - there are a lot of cells forming between Brest and Caens currently. Early days - but on course so far.
  8. Will probably need to take a screenshot of the CAPE and LI forecast for tomorrow afteroon when I get home. I can't remember seeing it that high so close in before.
  9. Some lovely looking castle anus building in Brighton already this morning - no doubt those further north will be licking their lips - as this will be their storm in an hour!
  10. Wow wow wow. Now the elevated storm to my south is one of such intensity that I haven't seen approach for a very long time!
  11. Really good pic of the waterspout here: https://twitter.com/HMCGSelsey/status/483312090787377152/photo/1
  12. Anyone seen the waterspout off the Sussex coast Goodwood area around 5mins ago? Just had a picture posted to FB from a friend there who has witnessed one there. Here's his pic:
  13. A lot more water there compared to 2011! Is the floating mountain still, well err, floating, nearby!
  14. New Estofex MD out for Belgium and NE France for possible tornados. Can say the shear is very evident here 100 miles further north. http://www.estofex.org/cgi-bin/polygon/showforecast.cgi?text=yes&fcstfile=2014060922_201406091933_-_mesoscalediscussion.xml
  15. Really impressive sheared environment here with upper clouds moving towards the NE with mid level clouds moving towards the NW. No lower level to judge as of yet.
  16. Looking at other internet pictures of this storm it is as good structurally as some of the storms that the teams are chasing in the US.
  17. A line of tornado warned cells in Colorado presently. Looking promising for NorthEast NM later.
  18. i see that the tornado risk has increased to 10%
