 Tonight has got to be one of my worst/scariest journeys home. Heavy rain from another storm made the roads extreamly flooded with water, mud and stones. At one point I had to slow right down as the rain was so heavy I could not make out the road or anyone on it :? I'm just glad I have a diesel car, cos some of the water I've had to drive through tonight would have stalled a petrol car
Had some interesting clouds tracking across the moors at approx 6pm but failed to deliver anything other than a bit of drizzle
Currently 14.2c & I'm off to put the heating on, it's chilly
Timmy H - you have actually reminded me of the summers of the 70's when we used to have really bad storms, with flooding, power cuts and loads of lightning
Even up here the wind has been picking up this afternoon, leaves falling like autumn :?
 Had torrential rain, thunder & lightning at 5pm in Malton (got drenched) Really heavy rain and lots of lightning, which made getting home pretty hairy at times 8-[ Had another storm rumble and flash just to the edge of us tonight
13.7C with clear skies and light wind Today saw the threat of rain (slight spots only) but turned out to be a nice sunny day with strong breeze at times, excellent clothes drying day (oh I am sad  )
We had a brief storm at 7pm Thunde, not too sure about lightening, but serious downfall (4mm in 10 mins) All quiet at the mo but having seen the radar I think there may be more
