Most important thing at this stage is it looks like becoming significantly colder from the east during the second half of next week with widespread frosts, ice days for some and snow flurries to eastern counties bordering the north sea.. it could become better still...very encouraging..and a cracking Ecm 12z mean..another good day.

It looks like we are going to be flooded with cold air during the second half of next week, much better than the models were indicating recently..snowy set ups could be in the pipeline. Get the deep cold air entrenched and the rest will take care of itself..I'm happy with the runs today, especially the Gem and Ecm..more upgrades please!!

Model Moans, Ramps and Banter

No but it's interesting to compare what they are currently saying with what the models are currently showing and in my opinion there is more wintry potential in the models at the moment than I have seen this winter so far..hoping the pros come on-board soon. :- ) -

It's what the pros are saying, just my spin on their wording but as for the models today, they look loaded with wintry potential but no mention of snow in the latest update, that could of course change again tomorrow etc. Nothing to ramp unless the MO come on-board I'm afraid -

It looks like staying generally unsettled and occasionally windy with spells of rain, heavy at times and temps varying between average / mild until around next midweek or perhaps thursday before the continental anticyclonic influence begins to arrive in the east with drier and brighter conditions but with increasing night frosts and probably fog patches with the unsettled atlantic weather becoming more restricted to the west of the uk as time goes on.
