This guy reminds me of My old Geography teacher at school.
If you asked him if it was going to snow this week or tomorrow he would say "yes" when you returned back to him after no snow had fell will he would simply say "you didnt ask where!"
I have not actually read piers Corbyns forecasts for next week or listened to any of the Radio Broadcasts ranting about this, but how specific are they being? Are they saying snow for the whole of the Uk, or just high elavations in the north?
What they are saying could be quite accurate if they are keeping it vague by not naming a specific area.
If the highlands of scotland get a blizzard next week were the media wrong to make these statements?
As teits said above if a snowflake falls on ben nevis its still snowed. (if its in a high wind is it a blizzard?  )
Its the same way that a white christmas is calculated; a single snowflake on the metoffice. (or wherever it is they say it has to fall) thats not a white christmas to me! but for winning your bet it is what counts.
Do you judge someones forecast in the same way, can you say they are wrong if they leave te little details out? How much and where it will snow for eg.
