    Hi,

Little confused, my latest temp on the METO website says Bournemouth airport is 0.5 degrees.

I would have thought being further east, the temp would have been lower?

Also Kaz in Barnstaple was reporting 3 degrees, are temps varying that much relatively locally?

    Any ideas?

    Dave

  2. Just seen rob on the BBC at 9.30 and he had Dorset getting lots of snow tomorrow, starting first thing tomorrow morning.!, all the way east to Taunton !!!!.

    YES, What a forecast !.

Looking at the radar, I am expecting some in Poole (Dorset), but not until about 1-3am. The question is how much, it is bound to fizal out as it heads across, but hopefully not too much!

Where are you Steve (there seems to be an issue with NW profiles at the mo)?

I think they have turned locations off, they are really strugling with server power!

  3. Hi all,

I am getting married this Saturday in Poole Dorset, the forecast over the last few days has been chaning run to run and still is. The general theme seems to be the main rain getting pushed further north and therefore not arriving in the central southern area until later in the day.

What are peoples thoughts on what the weather will be like in Poole on Saturday?

    Thanks

  4. You are on the relatively warm side of the front at the moment. The front does seem to be slowing (anyone agree?) and it will stall and eventually slide back south-east, pulling the colder air back down from the north. So your sleet may yet turn back to snow later.

    Snowing here heavily still. Amazing.

Completely agree, I only have the met office radar, but if you look at the 2 last half hour intervals, it has not moved any further north. I execpt to see this now start to move ENE slowly through the night.

On a more personal note, I am concered temps may be a little marginal for me in Poole (Only 5 miles inland from the Dorset Coast).

  5. I've been watching it but I wouldn't be surprised if it made it no further than Poole. Can but hope though!

    Hi,

I have been watching that too. But if you have a look at the link below, it looks like this is going to head off into the channel. What does look intresting is the bigger band of precip showing at 1.15am, unfortunatley, the predicted radar stops at this time!

As I am sure you can appreciate, not expecting much living here, but still hoping!

  7. Hi,

Anybody know of any good sites for weather in Paris? Or anybody like to take a punt for me?

Travelling to Paris on Monday 22nd October for 4 days and will be proposing to my girlfriend when I am there, should I dare to plan it outdoors or will I be best choosing an indoor location?

Please can people give me a rough idea of what type of weather to expect.

    Thanks

  8. Las Vegas August 4-8,.......

...........Let's say this -- make sure you are staying somewhere with a swimming pool because it's a long way to any kind of lake for a cooling swim.

Thanks for your responce Roger, luckly there will be a swimming pool on hand!

Will report back on my return as to how the weather turned out.... Not that i will be spending much time outdoors!

    Cheers
