  1. as I type this I can count three flakes, no wait , I stand corrected there are now four flakes blowing in the wind and it is like a spring day albeit very cold !!
  2. the words "snow" and Thanet" do not seem to like each other as we had a few flakes earlier but not even enough to make the grass white and it is very sunny now, perhaps we will get luckier during the week
  3. I know its only one model but look at the coastal strip around thanet towards folkestone.....0 inches
  4. I see on the met warnings that deal to folkestone is not included on mondays warnings but they join in the fun on tuesday and wednesday, lets hope everyone has a share as with what is being forecast there should be enough to spread around
  5. "Hmmm again more GFS like. Two runs in a row. Massive snowfall for many but dodgy for the SE. But this is still a long long way out in the circumstances". quote above is just in from Man with Beard over on Mad thread edit...I dont know why I visit that thread, its like a rollercoaster of information and emotions
  6. I will wait for you to be astonished then , when I report back no snow l.o.l
  7. also as I posted a little while ago, NICK L posted on the mad thread that he wished we could see the ec as there will be severe disruption over large swathes of the country during tuesday/wednesday
  8. even on the local southeast weather ,they just said the outlook is settled and drier edit...NICK L on the mad thread just posted that there will be severe disruption over large swathes of the country , so where are the meteogroup getting their ideas from.
  9. do they have the right to do that now as they no longer provide the forecasts for the BBC EDIT...sorry just seen that BA beat me to it
  10. bbc one weather just now (susan powell) said next week would be bitterly cold but DRY !!! edit....just noticed that sleety mentioned susans online forecast , be interesting what her answer will be when she tweets
  11. I can remember when I was young waking up in the morning and scraping the ice from the inside of my bedroom window
  12. thats rather a broad brush stroke saying Kent, perhaps areas of kent would read better from someone (me) who has not seen any snow l.o.l but well done to you and the people who got a covering
  13. our little bit of sleet/hail is now slowly melting away, rather like our chances for the rest of this winter (witth or without the forecasted SSW )
  14. the sun is making an appearance now and it is quite warm behind glass edit it also looks on the radar as though the showers are now dying out over us
