as I type this I can count three flakes, no wait , I stand corrected there are now four flakes blowing in the wind and it is like a spring day albeit very cold !!

the words "snow" and Thanet" do not seem to like each other as we had a few flakes earlier but not even enough to make the grass white and it is very sunny now, perhaps we will get luckier during the week

I know its only one model but look at the coastal strip around thanet towards folkestone.....0 inches

I see on the met warnings that deal to folkestone is not included on mondays warnings but they join in the fun on tuesday and wednesday, lets hope everyone has a share as with what is being forecast there should be enough to spread around

also as I posted a little while ago, NICK L posted on the mad thread that he wished we could see the ec as there will be severe disruption over large swathes of the country during tuesday/wednesday

bbc one weather just now (susan powell) said next week would be bitterly cold but DRY !!! edit....just noticed that sleety mentioned susans online forecast , be interesting what her answer will be when she tweets

our little bit of sleet/hail is now slowly melting away, rather like our chances for the rest of this winter (witth or without the forecasted SSW )
