BBC weather on tv just now did not even mention tuesday evening/ wednesday morning and nothing about possible travel disruption, do they know something we dont.
looked at the met site for our area early this morning and it said heavy snow for wednesday am, now they have changed it to only light snow and not even in the warning, hopefully they dont really kinow yet
when you look at that (allthough I know it could change with luck) once again Thanet is in the clear section at the tip of east kent
the gfsp shows heavy snow across us for 2200hrs tuesday
Im sorry to sound negative about all this but allthough friday looks amazing for most people, once again thanet is not included in that chart, what will it take !!
it looks to me as though that band of snow on the radar is breaking up/weakening as it gets towards kent, apart from that we had a hard frost here in ramsgate last night and some lovely winter sunshine now
well this is Thanet and as I said yesterday,we need our own weather forecast but hopefully the way things are going we could be in with a shout from next week with SNOW !!!
as usual, the band of precipitation is totally missing Thanet on the radar, could somebody explain this as we seem to need our own weather forecast and it happens quite frequently, is it possibly because we are surrounded by water on three sides ?
