    Snowing quite hard here again this morning and giving a conering. We still have some snow from yesterday so this is a nice top up

    About an inch here....snow all morning but very fine and I have noticed snow coming off the trees so it must be thawing a bit now.

    Quite a lot of snow this morning. We have several cms here and it is still falling. Children were disappointed not to have a day off school though!!

    About 2/3 cms fallen this morning to add to 1cm left from yesterday. Clear skies now though so I anticipate some thawing. Don't envy the teachers - my children are hyper!!

    We have light snow falling here now. It has been blowing around in the wind for 20 minutes or so. Nothing like heavy enough to give a covering though.

    Hail showers on and off this afternoon along with rain.... this evening we have VERY heavy hail/sleet/snow/ice pellets lol - not sure how you would define it bit giving a covering!!

    Really frosty today.... in fact the children thought we had snow!! Temps dropped well below freezing last night - it was already frosty by 6pm....

    Whwn I woke up it was snowing lightly. Since then we have had about an inch which has settled everywhere so all looks very white. It is still snowing now but I gather the forecasters are saying rain later :cry: :cry:

    We had some snow overnight that just left a dusting on the cars and a very wet looking village! It is snowing quite hard now though and settling on all the wet surfaces except the roads. Looking very grey..

    We had a light snow flurry this morning as I was walking the kids to school. Not enough to settle but it was snow not sleet.

    Some of the overnight snow has melted but still a decent covering. It has clouded over here with dark clouds but as the radar is showing nothing I guess that we are not expecting any snow for now.

    We have snow on the ground here that has fallen over night. A couple of cms I would guess but I have not ventured out to check yet!

    We had the briefest of snow flurries a while ago... but it was proper snow, not hail or sleet. Some very dark clouds around this evening...

    We just had rain for ages and sleet then it turned to proper snow... and stopped!! Any more on the way? Mind you, the ground is so wet I doubt that it would settle!

    Heavy snow falling here!! We have had almost an inch in less than an hour!! Almost did not make it home thanks to various cars and lorries jack- knifed.
