won't be the first or last time that an LRF will have to be revised. a forecast is a forecast, no-one ever claims it to be set in stone. All the people that matter still have faith in NW and GP. The on'es that do all the slagging tend to be the ones that have their own trumpet to blow and like politicians, only make a name for themselves by slating the opposition. To be honest folks, even though they were out of 72oz steaks i saw the size of the last 3 ordered and would have bottled it. They are just unreal in size and the 18oz i finished up with was really tough as old boots, so glad it didn't happen. think the bravado took over from sensibility whilst driving. Still i did eat the slad 3 shrimp and bread roll. As for Mr Fishy's nose bleed, well he gave an iaccurate forecast to Paul so he punched him!......not really, just got set off by the altitude i expect, 4000ft asl

PANIC..... Can someone advise what else may determine the direction of the volcanic ash cloud, current GFS forecast for next Wednesday morning shows jet stream directly from Iceland to UK. Worried for tour 4 flights as i'm on it :-(

Erm, think i'm going to be under dressed for tour 4 apart from the clothes, toiletries, passport and wallet, will have Handheld Panasonic mini camcorder Fuji fx31 camera Hp Notebook and all the leads batteries and SD cards. Any chance i can get copies of the experts photos and videos onto my laptop? :-) Jimbo

sorry i disappeared earlier all, first my daughter hijacked my laptop and then the family insisted we go to the shopping malls in international drive, heavy rain and storms all afternoon and didn't stop until 7-8pm. looking good for next week as well for central usa with the first major tornado and storm activity of the season and also some more fireworks here next tuesday. thanks all for joining in this discussion and all the great info and pictures and links jimbo

2-3 hour delays on all flights out of OIA at the moment, should be able to catch up for a while. Cold front pushing south so the next batch of storms may run to the south of orlando and not cause any further delays

nothing but rain here, so we must be to the south of clermont and missed the action winds deminishing rapidly as storm moves over lake apopca cheers paul, all eyes out to tampa for us now as latest one missed us to the north

hi coast, looks like clermont could in firing line for strong winds now at 1044, as cell has expanded further south, upper level winds of 100mph (linear) being reported upper level winds now over 100mph in a small area in the southern half of these storms, will run very close to clermont, 100mph plus currently over mascotte eta now 5mins away for north clermont, not sure what part i'm in

i must get my hearing checked......keep wondering why on the tv all these tornado and rotation reports are coming from train spotters, thought why is IT that you have to be on a train to get this info. JUST REALISED THEY WERE SAYING TRAINED SPOTTERS!! DOH!!
