  1. Tour 3 BA flights from London now dropped to £658
  2. Dropped even more, now £658 from London for Tour 3
  3. Agree, but this quite often stays unchanged for days on end, whether it's because their thoughts are unchanged or they only update periodically, i don't know. Personally i feel the meto LRF's are a waste of time because they either tend to cover every scenario or sit on the fence going neither one way or the other
  4. Off topic for here, sorry mods, but the wedge tornado in Mobile, Alabama yesterday evening was pretty awsome to watch. Video link attached if interested. http://www.fox10tv.com/dpp/news/alabama/large-dangerous-tornado-confirmed
  5. Good shout Nick, perhaps i need to learn to be more diplomatic
  6. GP needed, as you're on Stu, what's your current thoughts for mid Jan from your original LRF?
  7. Don't be daft, not even remotely similar, no heights over Greenland just for starters
  8. While watching Fox 10 live last night for the tornado outbreaks in US, they updated their winter forecast. It showed low heights over Greenland for the whole of January and only building into February. High pressure over Siberia only advecting cold over eastern and central Europe in January, keeping UK in a maritime flow for most of the time, with occassional incursions of cold. If heights do indeed stay low over Greenland, then that will upset a lot of LRF's touted on NW as earlier in the month the US were forecasting Greenland High pressure block for January, giving them a colder than average outlook, now a complete turnaround. Will be interesting to see how various LRF's pan out next month, but my thoughts on a colder outlook are now dwindling
  9. I hope not, i've been laying white xmas for glasgow and edinburgh on betfair, so hope next run brings back the mild
  10. Hope i'm proved wrong but i feel any real cold will stay to our north and east next week but a real snow fest in Central Finland from Tuesday next week, feeding westward. A brief taste of winter maybe next Wednesday but then the low moves back westward into the North Sea disrupting the flow and keeps any snow and extreme cold away from most of the UK. Wednesday Friday I seem to have lost my map along the way, UK is in bottom left corner lol
  11. Latest NAE 48 hr rainfall totals looking impressive for the south. Varies on each run, so still finding it hard to nail down.
  12. looking hot and dry for SE Sunday at the mo. Small chance for a discreet cell, one to keep an eye on
  13. And October, even last year we had 27C+ first week of October
  14. Never mind Paul, hope it gets better soon. Tramadol works better, was given that all day after my op to remove polyp from bladder last Friday, never felt so relaxed :-)
  15. Oh No, dropping like flies. If your appointment is at tooth hurty, then you should be able to make it down by the evening
  16. I'll be there about 4pm with me pyjamas and nightcap, poncho & sombrero :-), no tent and no pitch, Milo will be my pillow for the night
  17. tried to book a pitch today but aren't taking any more bookings because of waterlogged ground. Will have to try and wing it and hope they let me in on the day. Two bamboo canes and a tablecloth and i'm sorted
  18. Just clicked on the links and showing not available :-( I could do with one of those tents that you just throw on the ground and up it pops. Are dogs allowed there? Thinking of bringing Milo.
  19. Any spare tents would be appreciated as was planning to sleep in the car. Presume we just bring drink and food and the bbq's are on site?
  20. Tom, saw you on the Beeb last night on that Volcano programme. Didn't know you had a daytime job as a Volcano Ranger in Hawaii
  21. so weather boy's 5 near dry days don't count then, making me the gold medalist lol Actually Heathrow Airport had 5 dry days that same week, so i've been beaten by someone's luggage at Terminal 5
  22. surely near dry doesn't count, it's either been dry or not
