  1. Had 4 consecutive bone dry days last month from Tuesday 25th June and the day before only had less than 1mm
  2. Hi John, A couple of things worth a try. Firstly do a check on Windows and Java to see if you're due any updates and download them Secondly check you settings in Bullguard for Internet access as follows 1. Open BullGuard and go to the Firewall section > Overview tab. 2. Make sure there is no check mark in the box next to the "Block entire traffic (Panic switch)" option. 3. Select the Advanced user level and go to the Profiles tab. 4. Make sure the "Custom Security" profile is active and then double-click it. 5. Select the Application Rules tab from the window that appears and allow Internet access for all your legitimate programs. 6. Click OK in order to confirm the changes and close BullGuard's console. Worth a try but not easy to diagnose without seeing it up front, will PM as well
  3. Sunny spells all day here, only thin cloud around, hardly a huge blanket
  4. EH? will be more than humid enough looking at the latest charts, high dew points, CAPE & LI. How much more unstable do you want it lol. Whether it comes to fruition though, will have to wait nearer the time. Remember similar risk last year busted by the cap, only for it to kick off 24hrs later when less expected. Risk of ground level westerlies could also scupper the storms. Sensible option is to want supercell storms
  5. No but you have to have jam to have a jam sandwich
  6. I won't post every chart on the website as we can all see Thursday looks like a fun day. Summery and thundery breakdown all in one day. Two areas interest me for single cell storms in the mid afternoon, Dorset and Herts/Beds areas. South East England maybe late afternoon, then a general line-out of weaker storms up the eastern side in the evening. A lot can change in the meantime though for specifics
  7. Another great and well organised tour of duty that no other tour group could beat for entertainment and value for money. Thanks to all the other guests on tour 3 that made it fun all the way and a big thanks to Paul, Arron, John, Tom & Chicken George for all the work, late nights and effort put in to make the tours thoroughly enjoyable
  8. looking forward to another, just bumping up the thread
  9. OMG, this storm chasing never stops, big dark cloud over Dorking and I've had to call everybody in......IT'S SPITTING !!!!!!
  10. Fear not for those on tour 4. Met Brandon Ivey yesterday and his LRF has good chance of stormfest June 5th to 10th
  11. Whey hey, my first ever daytime lightning shot, didn't even realise i captured it until i was going through pics today.
  12. Best supercell we could find today, better chances tomorrow
  13. Cheers Guys, Was on tripod and remote, but gusty inflow. Settings were ISO200, F5.6 and 4 second exposure as lightning kicking off all over the place, so thought 30 seconds or bulb would be too much. Wasn't there for long so didn't have time to ask around before we had to escape the hail again
  14. Bearing in mind this is my first attempt with DSLR, here are 3 of my pics. First one is the wall cloud just before the cone nado dropped. It was down and rain wrapped before i could catch it on camera, but sure someone else has. Other two are nightitme lighting shots. DaveLp, i set to infinity and back a touch but still a bit out of focus.
  15. err, we are a team of 12, i just can't count
