  1. This is roughly what im expecting tomorrow based on current model outputs
  2. If the NAE is right we can expect 1-2 cms+ tomorrow, but considering we did pretty well out of the last event im happy to see the rest of the region join in on the fun tomorrow.
  3. Its double the legnth from the end to the middle Once we have the cold in place its a matter of time before our region see snow whether its from convection off the north sea or an atlantic breakdown. We still have three days untill the real cold air is forecast to arrive and a snow event can appear at the last minute. All the best snow events i have witnessed all appeared at no more than a days notice.
  4. I have seen FI within the 2-3 day range before, last december being a recent example of FI being so close. With the currently predicted track of the storm over france i think something we need to keep an eye on is the posibility that this storm could stregnthen and track futher north bringing strong winds over southern counties.
  5. Its been moving east for a while http://www.meteox.com/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-...;soort=satradar
  6. 1.8c here with a DP of about 1c and rain at the moment, 850 temps not looking good either on NW radar EDIT now 1.6
  7. What started as snow here has turned to heavy slush/icy rain  , its currently 0.8c not sure of the dewpoint.
  8. I've never done this before but thought id give it a try, i think that trends in FI indicate a cold february so id say 1.7c
  9. The same storm passed overhead in finchampstead just outside of reading, The sky turned pitch black and turned day into night then there was a huge crack/bang like i have never heard before ( sounded like a shotgun ) and the property next door was struck. This was followed by extremly heavy hail and vertical rain, i immediatley checked out blitzortung.org and it showed no storms at the time although 20 minutes later it did, working on that info i assume that the storm that produced the tornado was spawned just west of reading.
