    It was 1.4c when I left home but it's 0.5c at work... that pptn band seems a bit ahead of itself considering they said it would reach this area in the afternoon?

    Think I might leave work early tomorrow... I refuse to spend 2 hours getting home like in February ;-)

    Well, I can't actually believe it... at my other halves house last night about 1am it started snowing! My first white Christmas Nothing at home though

    Finally turned to snow... now it's at the end of the band and too light to settle.

    Think I must have gone through a gap in the pptn as it's now stopped raining.

    Think my weather station has had a bit of a wobbly... apparently 2.6c with a Dew Point of -9 Haha.

    Oh god, there must be a mistake, Leicester has a warning for rain, turning to snow! Must say though, the pptn looks to be going West of Leicester... though I haven't actually looked what track it's meant to take.

    Meto has now removed all the weather warnings apart from the south coast... that's all folks!

    Oh would you look at that... the Meto Severe Weather Warnings are avoiding the Midlands again

    Seems to be a bit backwards here... temperature has risen to 2.6c and the existing 'sprinkling' we had from Saturday night appears to be vanishing. Right, that's it! If the mountain won't come to Mahomet...

    I just saw a snowflake! It was beautiful. Then I realised it was just something blowing in the wind!

    Wouldn't bet on that band coming this far North, think it'll go SE of us and drift by. If it does arrive though, I hope it's by the time I get home! Found out this morning exactly how difficult a RWD car is to drive in the snow... fun though!

    It's the same here SnowTornado - must be very wet snow as the cars are just driving normally here and clearing it out the way as they drive through it.

    Time shall tell - It's dropped to 1.2c now. I'm beginning to think it may be a little too close to the house. It used to be at the bottom of the garden but I replaced the batteries and was too lazy to take it all the way back down again

    I'm in Earl Shilton just outside of Hinckley - bit odd really as I'm on top of a hill so would expect it to have started snowing here earlier.

    Yep, it's dropped to 2.1c now but still holding up, it was 2.1c a good 2 hours ago, went up and coming back down again. It's certainly very strange!

    Still sitting at 2.3c here and raining... I think I must have a micro-climate around my house.

    The themometer in my garden says 2.1c - I've replaced the batteries in my weather station and it's going the right way now... currently 5.1c so it's gradually working itself out.

    BBC News are in Gloucestershire and it looks like it's snowing there. Still rain here - anything slightly snow wise your way Andy? Just seem to have lots of drizzle here - can't really work out why my temperature is holding up at 2.1c and has been for the past hour.(Disregarding the 6.8c my weather station says it is)

    Please could we all spare a moments thought for Sammy Snowman whose head has just fallen off Oh, and another thought for my weather station which seems to think it's 9.5c outside... no wonder it's still raining :lol:
