Hi, where are you? I am in Pontyberem, I know there has been some snow in Tumble and Cross Hands.. Yet nothing here! Hopefully it's on its way!
Right down on the coast in Pwll unfortunately - hoping to just see some wet snow more than anything! Yes I've heared that too, I'm sure you'll get something later on

Temp 2.3c Dewpoint 0.7c its getting there slowly! Still rain though

Noticing that the dew point is dropping far far quicker than the temperature - I checked not so long ago and it was 1.8c, now its just 1.1c! yet the temperature is falling painfully slow 2.9c

Really shocked you have nothing still snowing here, and it is sticking now on the road we have about 3mm accumilations
I think it's time I moved a few miles up the road!

Temperature still slowly dipping...3.5c dew point 2.3c, looks like there may be a bit of sleet mixed in with the rain!

dewpoint has dropped from 3.5c to 2.7c over the past half hour.. it's going in the right direction at least

Still looking good for snow in C/E/SE Wales where those dew points are forecast to be lowest:

Coastal parts of the SW of Wales are least likely to get snow, including Swansea take a look at Derek's tweets:

More or less saying not much for Swansea/Pembrokeshire and cant argue with him on this looking at the dew points maybe some falling snow in Northern and higher parts of Swansea above 100m or so i would say.
Lets see where it goes from here then, and for those who have snow dont forget to take and post your pictures!

It has rained quite moderately here for the past half hour or so, shame the temperature wasn't 4 degrees lower

Hey there again. I'm not confident that we'll definitely see setting snow but this tomorrow is definitely our best chance. I've also noticed that going in to Monday is looking more marginal??
I was optimistic earlier but the more I've looked at it the more I have my doubts, maybe I've just turned into a pessimist haha

Hmm so by the looks of it sunday into monday will be quite marginal in regards to coastal area's seeing much snow falling? I'll take anything at this stage, not seen a proper snowflake here since 2010! Obviously got some time to go yet but are there any scenarios where we could get some snow nailed on at lower levels?

I've had rain and intense hail (possibly sleet initially)
Some ice still left on car surfaces, helped by the hail which still hasn't thawed.

I think we are going to have to wait for a more potent cold spell unfortuantly, temperatures just arent up to it. It's surprising how much intensity there is in these narrow troughs that form though

I suppose your elevation doesn't help Scarlet Snow, how much snow did you guys get last night?
Not even a flake!! Just rain, rain, and maybe some periods of sleet. Being so close to the coast we struggle big time for snow, we only managed 5cm here last year in the depth of the big freeze!
Been out looks mostly rain to me jeez.

As the rain drops hit the freezing surface there was like water vapour rising. If skies clear then it's gonna be so icy.
Just went out too and may of heared a rumble of thunder! Ice may be a problem though yes with the clear skies to follow
